Best Leading Actress 2010

5. Jennifer Lawrence - Winter´s bone
This is a prototype of a drab performance in a drab film. I didn't actually like the film and nor did I enjoy Lawrence's performance. She did nothing in Winter's bone. Being just sad is too little for a nomination. It's a fact that she is very talented and as a young actress in a debut she gave a wonderful performance, but in comparing with the other nominated it's not enough...

4. Nicole Kidman - Rabbit hole
Great performance of a great actress. She has some great scenes and she is very believable. She plays a mother whose son dies and she is trying to live the life again and find another meaning of her life. We don't have any doubts about what she went through. We believe her everything. The only blame I have is that you will probably not remember her performance for a long time, but nor you will remember the whole film...

3. Anette Bening - The Kids Are All Right
I'll be as daring, as I'll say that the role in The Kids Are All Right is Bening's performance of a lifetime. She was funny, charming and sad at once. This is a kind of a performance I like very much. In the scene in Ruffalo's character's house where she sings and even in the scene after coming home, she shows us a real terrific piece of acting...

2. Michelle Williams - Blue Valentine
Not very known film, but with the great performances of the two leading actors. Without Gosling (who deserved a nomination, too) and Williams it would not be as realistic and great, as it is. Williams plays her character very realisticly and she wonderfully changes into it. She gave everything into her role and I'm glad that the Academy didn't ignore her and gave her a nominee...

1. Natalie Portman - Black swan
It was very difficult to choose between Portman and Williams, but finally I go with Natalie. She was terrific and she is one of the reasons that the film is unforgettable. She was excellent, but I think that everyone who likes films and awards has seen it, so I do not have to talk about it very much...

My Nominees:
1. Natalie Portman - Black swan
2. Michelle Williams - Blue Valentine
3. Julianne Moore - The Kids Are All Right
4. Anette Bening - The Kids Are All Right
5. Nicole Kidman - Rabbit hole
